Abstract
Postupnom modernizacijom i napretkom tehnologije ljudi su primorani koristiti nove metode kako bi ostali u korak sa vremenom. Rudarenje podataka se pojavilo kao potreba za lakšim obraĊivanjem velikih ne sortiranih baza podataka. Primjenjivost rudarenja podataka se proteţe na sve industrije. Pomoću metoda rudarenja podataka pokušava se doći do relevatnog zakljuĉka na primjeru turizma i njegovih aktivnosti. Metode koje se koriste u ovom procesu su klasteri, stabla odluĉivanja, regresijska analiza i druge. Uz pomoć deskriptivne statistike i vizualizacije podataka korisnicima se na najbolji naĉin pokušavaju prikazati dobiveni rezultati. Profiliranje turista donosi prednosti u vidu maksimizacije profita kroz bolji i kvalitetniji odnos sa kupcima kroz konkurentsku prednost pred ostalim trţišnim sudionicima.
Abstract (english)
Technology is gradually advancing how the time goes by. People and companies are obligated to use new methods to keep the track with advances technologies and the changing market. Data mining appeared as a good way to analyze and work with big data in large data sets. The use of data mining is applicable in every industry that exists on the market. With the use of data mining methods we are trying to come to a conclusion based on the example of tourism and his activities. Methods that are used in this process are decision trees, regression analysis, clusters and others. The results are being showed with the use of descriptive statistics and visualization techniques to ease the understanding to the end user. Pattern recognition of tourist behavior is maximizing the profit with a better understanding of the market before the competition. Key words: data mining
