Abstract
Nakon utvrđenog problema i predmeta istraživanja te postavljenih hipoteza, ciljeva i metoda istraživanja, teorijski su analizirani posebni oblici turizma koje nudi suvremena turistička ponuda na temelju preferencija sve zahtjevnije turističke potražnje. Definirani su pojam i značaj sportskog turizma te cikloturizma kao jednog od njegovih segmenata. Da bi se cikloturizam adekvatno razvio, treba osigurati odgovarajuću cikloturističku infrastrukturu, što podrazumijeva postojanje povezanih, označenih biciklističkih ruta sa svom potrebnom signalizacijom, putokazima te mapama. Također, važan aspekt su dostupni ugostiteljski i smještajni objekti te adekvatan servis za bicikl. Geografska analiza Splitsko-dalmatinske županije ukazala je na raznolikost krajolika, očuvanost prirode te ugodnu klimu što daje izvrsnu podlogu za razvoj cikloturizma. Cikloturistička infrastruktura županije je u fazi razvoja te na njoj treba ustrajno raditi. Empirijsko istraživanje provedeno je krajem lipnja te tijekom mjeseca srpnja, putem anketnog upitnika u čijem je ispunjavanju sudjelovalo 46 ispitanika. Sastojao se od 8 pitanja koja su utvrdila demografska obilježja i obilježja putovanja cikloturista, motive prilikom izbora cikloturističke destinacije te njihovo zadovoljstvo postojećom cikloturističkom ponudom u destinaciji.
Abstract (english)
After the defined problems and subject of the research and the hypothesis, objectives and methods of research, theoretically are analyzed special forms of tourism, offered by contemporary tourist offer based on the preferences of increasingly demanding tourist demand. The concept and importance of sport tourism and cyclotourism as one of its segments have also been defined. In order to develop cyclotourism adequately, an appropriate cyclotouristic infrastructure should be provided, which implies the existence of related, marked cycling routes with all necessary signaling, road signs and maps. Also, important aspects are available catering and accommodation facilities and an adequate bicycle service. The geographic analysis of the Split-Dalmatia County has highlighted the variety of landscapes, the preservation of nature and a pleasant climate which provides an excellent platform for the development of cyclotourism. The cycling infrastructure of the county is in the development phase and it has to work hard on it. Empirical research was conducted at the end of June and during July through a survey questionnaire in which 46 respondents participated. It consisted of 8 questions that identified the demographic characteristics and travel characteristics of cyclotourist, the motives for choosing a cyclotouristic destination and their satisfaction with the existing cyclotouristic offer in the destination.
