Abstract
Iako je već dosta radova napisano na temu Porterovih konkurentskih sila, u ovom radu je poseban naglasak stavljen na građevinsku industriju. Ispitano je postoje li veze među konkurentskim silama i performansi poduzeća, te ako postoje, koliko su zapravo značajne u ovoj industriji. Također teorijski je ispitana i poslovna okolina poduzeća kao i Porterove sile općenito. S obzirom da je u radu dokazano da postoje određene veze među konkurentskim silama i performansama poduzeća u građevinskoj industriji, ovaj rad može poslužiti kao smjernica menadžerima u ovoj industriji na koje bi stvari u strategiji poslovanja možda ipak trebalo posvetiti više pažnje. Također, ovaj rad može poslužiti i kao podloga za neke buduće radove ili istraživanja na ovu ili sličnu temu.
Abstract (english)
Although many papers have already been written on the subject of Porters competing forces, special emphasis has been placed on the construction industry in this paper. It was examined whether there are links between competitive forces and company performance, and if so, how significant they actually are in this industry. The business environment of the company, as well as Porters forces in general were also theoretically examined. Given that the paper demonstrates that there are certain links between the competitive forces and performance of companies in the construction industry, this paper can serve as a guide to managers in this industry to which things in business strategy may still need to pay more atention. Also, this paper can serve as a basis for some future papers or research on this or similar topic.
