Abstract
Zbog svoje jedinstvene sposobnosti utjecaja na ponašanje i stavove drugih potrošača, lideri mišljenja nameću se kao atraktivan tržišni segment koji u posljednje vrijeme «zauzima» sve značajniju ulogu u procesu razvoja strategije digitalnih marketinških komunikacija. Dominacija interneta i društvenih mreža kao “mainstream” izvora informacija i mjesta za grupne raspravu, dovodi do promjena u izravnosti komunikacije na relaciji masovni mediji - lider mišljenja – publika, što stvara određene sumnje prema izvornom dvostupanjskom komunikacijskom modelu. Cilj ovog istraživanja je identificirati karakteristike modernih digitalnih lidera mišljenja uzimajući u obzir teorijske konstrukte zastupljene teorijom dvostupanjskog tijeka informacija. Istraživanje je provedeno na uzorku od 116 ispitanika od kojih većinu čine student Ekonomskog fakulteta u Splitu. Rezultati pokazuju značajnu statističku povezanost između crta ličnosti ekstraverzije odnosno motiva altruizma s percipiranim stupnjem vodstva u mišljenju. Na temelju rezultata formiran je regresijski model koji predviđa očekivanu vrijednost stupnja vodstva u mišljenju.
Abstract (english)
Due to their unique ability to influence behavior and attitudes of other consumer, opinion leaders have emerged as an attractive market segment that keeps playing more and more important role within the digital marketing communication strategy development process. The overall domination of internet and social media as two mainstream sources of information and places for group discussion, has resulted in significant changes across the mass media – opinion leader – audience relations, which raises certain eyebrows towards the initial two step communication model. The aim of this study is to identify the characteristics of modern digital opinion leaders while taking the theoretical constructs of two step communication flow theory into consideration. The survey was conducted on a sample of 116 participants with majority of them being students of the Faculty of Economics in Split. Final results show significant relationship between extraversion, altruism and opinion leadership. Based on result findings, regression model is developed to predict the expected value of opinion leadership.
