Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu istraživao se način na koji mala i srednja poduzeća u Hrvatskoj upravljaju pojedinim komponentama obrtnog kapitala. Najveći problem malog gospodarstva u Hrvatskoj je nelikvidnost, do koje dolazi velikim dijelom zbog problema s naplatom potraživanja. Anketiranje malih i srednjih poduzeća je pružilo podatke o presjeku stanja tih poduzeća i primjenjenim, odnosno odabranim politikama i tehnikama u upravljanju gotovinom, potraživanjima, zalihama te obvezama prema dobavljačima. Rezultati istraživanja su omogućila da se radne hipoteze H1 i H2 potvrde. Dakle, potvrđuje se da mala i srednja poduzeća različito upravljaju obrtnim kapitalom kao i da poduzeća različitih djelatnosti različito upravljaju obrtnim kapitalom.
Abstract (english)
Main goal of this paper was to investigate how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Croatia manage individual components (inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable) of working capital management (WCM). The biggest problem for Croatian SMEs is insolvency which is largely due to the problem of accounts receivable. The results of the research have enabled the working hypotheses H1 and H2 to be confirmed. Therefore, it is confirmed that small and medium enterprises manage their working capital differently. And also, companies of different industries operate differently with working capital.
