Abstract
Modeli za predviđanje stečaja česta su tema istraživanja i znanstvenih radova u svijetu i u Hrvatskoj. Njihova uspješnost je od velikog značaja za praksu posebno u trenucima financijske krize i dinamičnom tržišnog okruženja. Modeli za predviđanje stečaja razlikuju se po mnogim karakteristikama kao što su broj varijabli, vrsta varijabli, itd. Najvažnija karakteristika modela jest točnost kojom model klasificira poduzeća koja su u stečaju i ona koja su uspješna. U ovom radu, cilj je bio putem logističke regresije predvidjeti mogućnost stečaja i to korištenjem računovodstvenih podataka za 2014. i 2015. godinu. Podaci su preuzeti iz baze podataka „Amadeus“. Uzorak se sastojao od 300 poduzeća. Primjena logističke regresije rezultirala je modelom koji je sa 82,2% sveukupne točnosti predviđao poslovni neuspjeh poduzeća.
Abstract (english)
Models for predicting bankruptcy have significant role in research and scientific papers over the world. Their correctness has huge importance for practice especially in time of financial crisis and turbulent dynamic environment. Models for bankruptcy prediction differ in many ways, such as number of variables, category variables, etc. The most important feature of the model is accuracy by which the model classifies the companies that are in bankruptcy and the ones that are successful. In this paper, the main purpose of logistic regression was to predict the possibility of company’s bankruptcy by using accounting data for 2014 and 2015. The data was downloaded from the „Amadeus“ data base. The sample accounted 300 companies. The application of a logistic regression resulted with the model whose correctness for predicting a business failure was define at 82,2%.
