Abstract
Makroprudencijalna politika svoje korijene ima još u sedamdesetim godinama prošlog stoljeća, a u široku upotrebu počela se koristiti nakon zadnje velike krize 2007. godine. U radu je analiziran i problematiziran njen značaj za pojedine elemente gospodarstva i uspoređuje njeno provođenje u RH s drugim sličnim zemljama. Osnovni cilj rada bio je definirati makroprudencijalnu politiku i pratiti ekonomske pojave na koje će se kasnije djelovati odabranim makroprudencijalnim instrumentima. Pored toga, cilj je bio ustanoviti njenu povezanost s monetarnom politikom i značaj koji ima na gospodarstvo, kao i usporediti njeno korištenje u RH i drugim zemljama. Rezultat rada ukazuje na to kako je makroprudencijalna politika bila jedan od ključnih pokretača u borbi protiv materijalizacije rizika, a to se posebno odnosilo na Hrvatsku kao zemlju u razvoju, te kao sredstvo u očuvanju financijske stabilnosti. Sigurno je kako područje makroprudencijalne politike i njene suradnje s ostalim politikama ostavlja veliki prostor za daljnje istraživanje i analiziranje.
Abstract (english)
Macroprudential policy has its roots in the seventies of the last century and has been widely used since the last major crisis in 2007. The paper analyzes and problematizes its importance for individual elements of the economy and compares its implementation in the Republic of Croatia with other similar countries. The main aim of the paper was to define macro-prudential policy and to follow the economic phenomena to which later the selected macro-prudential instruments will act. In addition, the aim was to establish its relationship with monetary policy and its importance to the economy, as well as to compare its use in the Republic of Croatia and other countries. The result of the work suggests that macro-prudential policy was one of the key drivers in the fight against materialization of risks, particularly as regards Croatia as a developing country, and as a tool of preserving financial stability. It is certain that the area of macro-prudential policy and its cooperation with other policies leaves room for further exploration and analysis.
