Abstract | U predmetnom radu se analiziraju način i kapaciteti neprofitnih organizacija kod upravljanja projektima, a kroz prizmu projektnog menadžmenta i njegovih bitnih odlika i karakteristika razmatrat će se rad neprofitnih organizacija, i to na primjeru Udruge Sv. Jeronim iz Kaštel Gomilice.
Ciljevi ovoga rada su predstaviti djelovanje i rad neprofitnih organizacija kroz pripreme i provedbe projekata te sve mogućnosti i prednosti koje one pružaju s naglaskom na otvaranje novih radnih mjesta i zapošljavanje sve većeg broja mladih ljudi.
Dodatno, rad za cilj ima naglasiti i ukazati na doprinos i koristi koje neprofitne organizacije imaju cjelokupno društvo, počevši od malih lokalnih zajednica, i koliko su projekti važni za djelovanje neprofitnih organizacija.
Teorijski dio rada se uvodno bavi pojmovima projekta i projektnog menadžmenta. Daju se definicije oba pojma, kao i osnovne karakteristike projektnog menadžmenta i njegov razvoj kao samostalne ekonomske discipline
Nastavno, ovaj rad obraĎuje i pojam civilnog društva, pri čemu je glavni fokus na civilnom društvu i neprofitnim organizacijama te njihovim najvažnijim obilježjima i karakteristikama, s naglaskom na civilnom društvu u Hrvatskoj. Ovaj dio rada obraĎuje projektni menadžment u neprofitnim organizacijama, objašnjavajući kompleksnost provoĎenja projekta i s tim povezanih problema u neprofitnim organizacijama, te se objašnjava i projektni ciklus u neprofitnim organizacijama.
Glavni dio rada se bavi projektnim menadžmentom u udruzi Sv. Jeronim. Daje se prikaz i analiza nekih od glavnih projekata koje je provela navedena udruga, u kontekstu projektnog menadžmenta, te prikazuje kako su zaposlenici udruge Sv. Jeronim provodili predmetne projekte u skladu sa glavnim obilježjima projektnog menadžmenta. Ovaj rad je pokazao kako još uvijek postoje odreĎeni nedostatci i propusti kada je pitanju projektni menadžment, djelovanje projektnog tima, organizacija rada kao unutarnji problemi, te razni vanjski problemi poput neureĎenih zakona, loše administracije i sl. Ali takoĎer je pokazao i neke pozitivne stvari u neprofitnim organizacijama prilikom provoĎenja projekata, poput primjerice načina financiranja i sposobnosti članova projektnog tima da uspješno završe projekta unatoč svim preprekama. |
Abstract (english) | This thesis analyzes the mode and capacities of non-profit organizations in dealing with projects, i.e. in project management. On the example of non-profit organization St. Jeronim, purpose of this thesis is to use all the characteristics and main features of project management and show how they are being implemented when dealing with projects in non-profit organizations. The main objective of this thesis is to show the overall process of project management in non-profit organizations, and all the advantages and benefits of projects in non-profit organizations, with emphasis on opening of new job positions and employment of young people, using the example of St. Jeronim organization.
Furthermore, this thesis, as an additional goal, tends to emphasize the contribution, benefits and impact that non-profit organizations have overall on society, starting from the smaller local communities to larger communities.
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the terms of project and project management. The definitions of both terms are given, as well as the main characteristics of project management.
Afterwards, thesis deals with the term of civil society, where the main focus is on defining the term of civil society and non-profit organizations, and their main features and characteristics, with the emphasis on civil society in Croatia. As an important part of non-profit organizations, thesis also deals with financing of non-profit organizations, primarily with the sources of finances for its work. Then, thesis deals with project management in non-profit organizations, explaining the complexity of projects and all related problems in non-profit organizations. Project cycle in non-profit organizations is also explained.
The main part of this thesis deals with project management in St. Jeronim organization. Some of the main projects in above mentioned organization are being observed and analyzed in the context of project management, showing how the employees of St. Jeronim organization used main features and characteristics of project management in dealing with different projects. This analysis showed that there are still some major problems in non-profit organizations when dealing with projects, e.g. work organization, the division of responsibilities as internal problems and also some external problems like poor legal acts and different administrative problems. But it also showed some positives in non-profit organizations when dealing with projects, e.g. like financing and capabilities of project team members in successfully finishing the project despite all the obstacles in the way. |
