Primjena interneta u marketinškoj komunikaciji u posljednjem je desetljeću doživjela enorman rast, a posljedica toga jest razvoj posebne grane marketinga, odnosno Internet marketing. Drugim riječima, internetske društvene mreže toliko su promijenile uvjete poslovanja i pokrenule preoblikovanje komunikacijskih, marketinških i poslovnih strategija. The use of the Internet in marketing communications has undergone tremendous growth in the last decade, and consequently the development of a particular branch of marketing or Internet marketing. In other words, the online social network has changed so much the business conditions and started transforming communication, marketing and business strategies.
