Abstract
Ciljevi rada bili su analizirati proizvode putnog osiguranja, sudionike tržišta osiguranja te razvijenost tržišta putnog osiguranja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Najpoznatiji proizvodi putnog osiguranja su: zdravstveno osiguranje za vrijeme puta, osiguranje prtljage, osiguranje od otkaza putovanja i osiguranje od privatne odgovornosti i automobilske asistencije. Tržište putnog osiguranja čine ugovaratelji osiguranja, društva za osiguranje i distributeri osiguranja. Ugovaratelji osiguranja zajedno s društvima za osiguranje sklapaju ugovor o osiguranju, dok distributeri osiguranja obavljaju poslove savjetovanja, pružanja informacija i pomoći pri odabiru proizvoda osiguranja. Putna osiguranja bilježe porast iz godine u godinu. Najbolji pokazatelji za to su zaračunata bruto premija putnog osiguranja koja je u promatanom razdoblju od 2013. do 2017. godine ostvarivala pozitivan rast. Najveća zaračunata bruto premija putnog osiguranja bila je za osiguranje od automobilske asistencije a najmanja za osiguranje pomoći za vrijeme puta. Udio likvidiranih šteta u neživotnom osiguranju i ukupnim štetama, također je bio sve veći iz godine u godinu.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study is to analyze travel insurance products, insurance market participants and the development of the travel insurance market in the Republic of Croatia. Travel insurance products are: time health insurance, baggage insurance, travel cancellation insurance, private liability insurance and car assistance. The travel insurance market is made up of policyholders, insurance companies and insurance distributors. The policyholders contract an insurance policies with the insurance company, while the insurance distributors perform the business of consulting, providing information and helping to select the insurance product. Travel insurance grows every year. The best indicator is gross travel insurance premium, which in the period from 2013 to 2017 was positive. The highest gross travel insurance premium was for car insurance and the smallest for roadside assistance. The share of liquidated damages in non-life insurance and total damages was also increasing every year.
