Abstract
Turizam je jedan od najznačajnijih fenomena današnjice koji ostvaruje značajan udio svjetskog dohotka, te osigurava poslove desecima milijuna ljudi. Također, ima brojne pozitivne učinke u raznim aspektima, ali isto tako, ukoliko se razvojem turizma ne upravlja kvalitetno, može polučiti i brojne negativne učinke. Ključan element svake destinacije je lokalna zajednica, koja predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih resursa same destinacije, a uz to građani direktno trpe posljedice tog razvoja, bile one... More pozitivne ili negativne. Ovim diplomskim radom i istraživanjem koje je provedeno, pokušalo se otkriti koja je stvarna uloga lokalna zajednice u upravljanju razvojem turizma, koje su pozitivne reperkusije tog procesa, koji su načini participacije lokalnog stanovništva, koji su ostali akteri turističkog razvoja, te što je i kako funkcionira integralno upravljanje razvojem turizma koje za cilj ima ujediniti sve zainteresirane aktere neke destinacije. Anketnim upitnikom nastojalo se otkriti kakvo mišljenje o razvoju turizma ima lokalna zajednica u gradu Splitu, koliko su građani povezani sa mjestom, koliko su do sada bili uključeni u proces razvoja turizma, pokazuju li zanimanje za aktivno sudjelovanje u procesu razvoja turizma, te koje metode participacije smatraju optimalnima. Zaključeno je kako je integralni razvoj turizma jedino dugoročno rješenje koje će u obzir uzeti mišljenja i stavove svih zainteresiranih dionika neke destinacije. Participacija i dugoročno održiv turizam su preduvjeti za nastanak kvalitetnog turističkog razvoja koji će u dugom roku donijeti blagostanje lokalnoj zajednici, a istovremeno očuvati prirodnu i kulturnu baštinu za iduće generacije. Abstract (english)
Tourism is one of the most important activities in the modern time, which makes significant amount of world income and secures jobs for tens of millions of people. Also, it has positive impacts in various area, but on the other hand, if the development of tourism is not well managed, it can produce many negative impacts. The key element of each destination is the local community, which is on one side, its most important resource and on the other side, citizens are directly affected by the... More consequences of tourism development, both positive and negative ones. The main goals of this master thesis were to explain the role of the local community in the governing of tourism development, repercussions resulting from this process, best ways of the local community participation, the other stakeholders role in tourism development, and importance of introducing the integrated management of tourist 109 destination/local community so as to fulfill the goals of all the destination stakeholders. The questionnaire sought to find out what was the opinion on tourism development impacts of the city of Split community, how much they are attached to the city, how much they have been involved in the tourism development process so far, if they had shown an interest in active participation in tourism development and what methods of local community involvement they consider to be the best. It was concluded that integrated tourism development is the only long-term solution that will take into account the opinions and views of all interested stakeholders of a destination. Participation and long-term sustainable tourism are the prerequisites for the high quality development of tourism, which in the long run will bring prosperity to the local community and preserve the natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
