Abstract
Ubrzan razvoj informacijsko – komunikacijskih tehnologija rezultiralo je većom upotrebom mobilnih uređaja, odnosno pametnih telefona i prenosivih računala. Glavno istraživačko pitanje ovog rada je u kojoj mjeri su mobilne aplikacije značajne za hrvatski i svjetski turizam. Opisane su neke od najpopularnijih aplikacija te je predočena statistika upotrebe mobilnih aplikacija u turizmu upravo kako bi bila dokazana njihova važnost. Cilj istraživanja je specificirati način primjene, ulogu, prednosti i nedostatke mobilnih aplikacija te analizirati statistiku vezanu uz njihovu primjenu. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da su danas mobilne aplikacije itekako važne za turističku industriju i na hrvatskoj i na svjetskoj razini. Ne samo da su olakšale planiranje putovanja za putnika, nego su olakšale proces oglašavanja i rezervacije za same ponuditelje i iznajmljivače smještaja. Na svjetskoj razini ima raznih vrsta turističkih aplikacija, kao i na hrvatskoj, no istraživanje pokazuje kako mjesta za napredak odnosno za proširenje i poboljšanje ponude još uvijek ima.
Abstract (english)
The rapid development of information - communication technologies has resulted in a greater use of mobile devices and smart phones and portable computers. The main research question of this study is the extent to which mobile applications are significant to the Croatian and international tourism. It describes some of the most popular applications and there is presented statistics use of mobile applications in tourism just to prove their importance. The goal of the research is to specify the manner of application, role, advantages and disadvantages of mobile applications and analyze statistics related to their implementation. The research results show that today, mobile applications are very important for the tourism industry for the Croatian and the world level. Not only do they facilitate travel planning for passengers, but also facilitate the process of advertising and reservations for bidders and renters. At the global level, there is various kinds of tourist applications, as well as on the Croatian, but research shows room for improvement regarding expansion and improvement of the offer.
