Abstract
Banke imaju sve veću konkurenciju u obavljanju platnih usluga od strane nebankovnih institucija. Najznačajniji konkurenti među njima su Fintechs tvrtke koje karakterizira brzina i sposobnost rješavanja problema u specifičnim područja, što nije karakteristično za banke. Međutim i banke imaju svoje prednosti koje se ogledavaju u postojećim klijentima i uspostavljanju distribucijskih kanala. Združivanjem prednosti banaka i Fintechs tvrtki postiže se veća vrijednosti za kupce. S druge strane PSD2 direktiva uvodi promjene u elektroničkom plaćanju, zaštiti podataka, te prava i obveza korisnika i pružatelja platnih usluga, koje su prilagođenije Fintech tvrtkama nego bankama.
Abstract (english)
Banks have increasing competition in the provision of payment services by non-banking institutions. The most significant competitors among them are Fintechs companies which are characterized by speed and ability to solve problems in specific areas, which is not typical for banks. However, banks also have their advantages, which are reflected in existing customers and the establishment of distribution channels. Combining the advantages of banks and Fintechs companies achieves greater value for customers. On the other hand, the PSD2 directive introduces changes in electronic payments, data protection, and the rights and obligations of users and payment service providers, which are more adapted to Fintech companies than banks.
