Abstract
Žene sve više nastoje samostalno sudjelovati u poslovnom svijetu pokretanjem vlastitih biznisa. Na taj način doprinose gospodarskom rastu i zapošljavanju. Cilj rada je opisati važnost poduzetništva kroz poduzetničke aktivnosti žena i predstaviti programe za poticanje ženskog poduzetništva. Problemi žena poduzetnica najčešće se javljaju zbog tradicionalnih uvjerenja društva u jedinstvenu majčinsku ulogu žene. Poduzetnice, a posebno poduzetnice majke, osim ekonomskih prepreka, najveći izazov poduzetničkog poslovanja vide u usklađivanju profesionalnog i obiteljskog života. Moguća rješenja problema navode se kroz strateške ciljeve koju su donijeli Vlada RH i Ministarstvo poduzetništva i obrta. Djelovanje nevladinih organizacija, poticanjem, savjetovanjem i programima, također je bitno za napredak i razvoj ženskog poduzetništva.
Abstract (english)
Women are trying to participate in business world by starting their own business. That way, they can contribute to economic growth and more employment. The main goal of work is to describe the importance of entrepreneurship through women’s entrepreneurial activities and present programs to encourage women’s entrepreneurship. The problems of women entrepreneurs most often arise due to the traditional beliefs of society in the unique maternal role of women. Entrepreneurs, especially the ones who are mothers, in addition to economic barriers, they see the biggest challenge of entrepreneurial business in reconciling professional and family life. Possible solutions to the problem are listed through strategic goals adopted by the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts. The activities of non-governmental organizations, through encouragement, counseling and programs, are also essential for the progress and development of women's entrepreneurship.
