Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je analizirati izvore sredstava banaka u Republici Hrvatskoj i Privrednoj banci Zagreb d.d. Izvori sredstava banaka se dijele na depozitne izvore sredstava, nedepozitne izvore sredstava i na kapital. Depozitni izvori sredstava se dijele na transakcijske depozite, oročene depozite i štedne depozite. Nedepozitni izvori sredstava se dijele na primljene kredite i izdane dužničke vrijednosne papire. Rezultati analize pokazali su da su depoziti po transakcijskim računima najzastupljeniji izvor sredstava banaka u Republici Hrvatskoj, a slijede ih oročeni i štedni depoziti. Kod nedepozitnih izvora sredstava prednjače primljeni krediti dok za izdavanjem vrijednosnih papira banke u Republici Hrvatskoj pokazuju slabiji interes. Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. koristi izvore sredstava slično kao i ostale banke i u njima prevladavaju depoziti na transakcijskim računima.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this study was to analyze the sources of banks' funds in the Republic of Croatia and Privredna bank of Zagreb d.d. Banks' sources of funds are divided into deposit sources of funds, non-deposit sources of funds and capital. Deposit sources of funds are divided into demand deposits, time deposits and savings deposits. Non-deposit sources of funds are divided into loans received and debt securities issued. The results of the analysis showed that demand deposits are the most important source of funds, followed by term deposits and savings deposits. In the case of non-deposit sources of funds, loans are dominant, while banks in the Republic of Croatia show less interest in issuing securities. Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. has a similar structure of funds' sources as the other banks do, with demand deposits being dominant.
