Abstract U današnje vrijeme kada je tehnologija ušla u svaki segment života i omogućila povezivanje različitih ljudi iz različitih dijelova svijeta koji dijele zajedničke interese, važno je govoriti o interkulturalnoj komunikaciji. ... More običaje koji su važni za njegovanje dugoročnih odnosa s poslovnim partnerima. Temelj toga je upoznati se s odrednicama općenite komunikacije, kao što su njezini elementi, vrste, struktura i slično. Rad poseban fokus stavlja na analizu etike i bontona u poslovanju. Time obuhvaća analizu važnosti poslovnog odijevanja, poslovnog komuniciranja i ponašanja na poslovnim događajima poput sastanaka i ručkova. U radu se također analiziraju i komunikacijski stil, pri čemu je poseban naglasak na definiranje tri osnovne vrst stilova, a to su: submisivni, agresivni i asertivni stil. Analizom navedenih vrsta stilova, rad daje preporuku kakva vrsta komunikacije daje najpovoljnije rezultate i njeguje dugoročne odnose s poslovnim partnerima. Prihvaćanjem važnosti prethodno navedenih komponenti koje istražuje ovaj rad, moguće je jednostavnije razumjeti pravila bontona u različitim kulturama. Stoga je za ovaj rad ključno prikazati osnovna obilježja nekih od vodećih zemalja u svijetu, kao što su poslovni običaji u Njemačkoj, Mexicu, Kanadi, SAD-u, Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, Singapuru, Kini, Japanu, Južnoj Koreji, Francuskoj, Rusiji i Italiji. Abstract (english) Nowadays, when technology has entered every segment of life and made it possible to connect different people from different parts of the world who share common interests, it is important to talk about intercultural communication. Knowing other cultures can speed up and simplify the process of enterprise globalization. ... More culture, business rules and customs that are important for nurturing long-term relationships with business partners. The foundation of this is to learn determinants of general communication, such as its elements, types, structure, etc. The paper puts a special focus on ethics analysis and rules of conduct in business. It includes an analysis of the importance of business attire, business communication, and behavior at business events such as meetings and lunches. The paper also analyzes the communication style, which emphasizes the definition of three basic types of styles, which are: submissive, aggressive and assertive style. By analyzing these types of style, the paper makes a recommendation of what type of communication gives the most favorable results and nurtures long-term relationships with business partners. By accepting the importance of the existing components which are researched in this paper, it is possible to easily understand the rules of conduct in different cultures. Therefore, presenting the basic features of some of the leading countries in the world is crucial for this paper, such as business customs in Germany, Mexico, Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, France, Russia and Italy. The diversity among these cultures confirmed the importance of knowing business partners’ cultures so we wouldn’t inadvertently offend a partner, and in order to have a long-term relationship with them.
