Abstract
U ovom radu su prikazani ukupni utjecaji korona-krize na glavna burzovna središta. Usporedbom tržišnih kapitalizacija i burzovnih indeksa se može uočiti da, iako je zaraza započela u Kini, Kina ima najmanje posljedice na ekonomiju i burze. Najveće posljedice su imaju NYSE i Euronext burze. Iako je kriza prouzrokovala zatvaranje brojnih poduzeća, farmaceutske i tehnološke kompanije su ostvarile značajan profit, te se s namjerom sprječavanja inflacije ponajviše ulagalo u kriptovalute. Posljedice koje su ostavljene u gospodarstvu su: porast stope nezaposlenosti i inflacije te značajan pad BDP-a. Iako je kriza prouzrokovala pad BDP-a, već u 2021. godini je ostvaren veći rast BDP-a nego što je očekivan. Smatra se da će povećanim cijepljenjem doći do oporavka ekonomije, zbog čega su burzovni indeksi krajem 2020. godine dosegli vrhunac. Analiziranjem naglog rasta burzovnih indeksa se predviđa puknuće balona i početak recesije 2023.-te godine, kada se potroše financijska sredstava za pomoć oporavka od korona-krize.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the overall effects of the corona crisis on the main stock exchanges. A comparison of market capitalizations and stock indices shows that, although the pandemic began in China, China has the least impact on the economy and stock markets. The biggest consequences were reflected on the NYSE and Euronext stock exchanges. Although the crisis caused the shutdown of many companies, pharmaceutical and technology companies made significant profits, and with the intention of preventing inflation, most investments were made in cryptocurrencies. The consequences left in the economy are: an increase in the unemployment rate and inflation, and a significant drop in GDP. Although the crisis caused a decline in GDP, already in 2021, higher GDP growth was achieved than expected. It is believed that increased vaccination will lead to economic recovery, which is why stock market indices peaked in late 2020. Analyzing the sharp rise in stock market indexes predicts a bursting of the bubble and the beginning of the recession in 2023, when funds for recovery from the corona crisis are spent.
