Abstract
Kratkoročni su krediti sa rokom dospijeća do 12 mjeseci. Njihovo je odobravanje uglavnom jednostavno i standardizirano. Razlikujemo više vrsta kratkoročnih kredita ovisno o namjeni, iznosu, instrumentu osiguranja i slično. U ovom su se radu usporedile prednosti i nedostatci kratkoročnih kredita u odnosu na dugoročne kredite i samofinanciranje, te su iz toga izvedeni zaključci o najprimjerenijem obliku financiranja u određenoj situaciji. Kratkoročni kredit je kredit s rokom dospijeća do 12 mjeseci. Takva vrsta kredita za banku nosi određenu dozu rizika koja je ipak razmjerno manja u odnosu na dugoročne kredite. Iznosi takvih kredita su manji, često i obnavljajući te se njihovo vraćanje financira iz redovnog poslovanja, putem poslovnog računa otvorenog u banci. Također, nakon provedene usporedbe kratkoročnih izvora financiranja i vlasničkog financiranja zaključak je da obje vrsta financiranja imaju svoje prednosti i nedostatke.
Abstract (english)
Short-termloans are loans with maturity of up to twelve months. Credit approval process for this typeofloans is usually simply and standardized. There are many types of short-term loans depending on purpose, amount, instrument of insurance and so on. In this paper short-term loans were compared with long-term loans and self-financing, and there were listed advantages and short comings based on that comparison and it was concluded what is the best type of financing in according to the situation the firm is in. Short-term loans are loans with maturity of up to twelve months. This type of loan carries certain amount of risk for the bank which is still correlatedly lower in comparison to long-term loans. The loan involves lower borrowed amounts, they are often self-renewing and repayments are typically done by bank taking out the amount from the borrower's business account. In addition, after conducted comparison of short-term and self-financing the conclusion is that both short-term loans and self-financing have it's advantages and disadvantages.
