Abstract
Manifestacije se definiraju kao svaka planirana dogaĊanja i okupljanja sa razlogom edukacije, natjecanja, zabave ili socijaliziranja. Sa nadolaskom pandemije u 2020-toj godini manifestacije su osjetile izniman udarac i ušle u doba velike neizvjesnosti zbog otkazivanja svih velikih globalnih manifestacija. Sa gubitkom stalnih prihoda industrija manifestacija jest trebala promijeniti svoj naĉin organiziranja te je potrebno utvrditi na koji naĉin je Covid utjecao na organizaciju dogaĊanja i na afirmirani model organizacije manifestacija u pet faza. To pitanje u ovom radu paralelno je povuĉeno i odgovoreno u prizmi preporuka za sprjeĉavanje zaraze. Nakon definiranih problema, mogućnosti razvoja manifestacija u dobu pandemije prate tri faktora: promjena marketing strategije, ukljuĉivanje virtualnog okruţenja i prilagodba za naĉin mješovitog odrţavanja. Uzeta su ĉetiri primjera manifestacije odrţanih u pandemijskom razdoblju kao razliĉiti modeli prilagodbe. Grand Gourmet jest manifestacija koja je uzeta kao primjer odrţane manifestacije u doba pandemije. To je meĊunarodni ugostiteljski festival i natjecanje konobara, barmena i batista kojeg svake godine od 2015-te organiziraju Šefovi kuhinja mediteranskih i europskih regija Organizaciju dogaĊaja pratili su mnogi izazovi ukljuĉujući dva velika otkazivanja koja su uzrokovala mijenjanje lokacije, smanjivanje vremenskog perioda organizacije i potencijalno preklapanje datuma ostalih manifestacija unutar spleta više manifestacija, ukljuĉujući Split Gourmet Expo po kome je na kraju manifestacija dobila i ime. Nakon definiranja preduvjeta organizacije i istraţivanje podataka vezane za aktivnosti organizacije definirani su bitni faktori predvladavanja izazova organiziranja u dobu pandemije.
Abstract (english)
Events are defined as any planned gathering for the purpose of education, competition, entertainment or socialization. With the onset of the pandemic in 2020, the events felt an extraordinary blow and entered an era of great uncertainty due to the cancellation of all major global events. With the loss of fixed income, the event industry needed to change its way of organizing, and it is necessary to determine how Covid influenced the organization of events and the established model of organizing events in five phases. This question in this paper is drawn in parallel and answered in the prism of infection prevention recommendations. Once the problems are defined, the possibilities of developing events in the age of a pandemic are accompanied by three factors: a change in marketing strategy, the inclusion of a virtual environment, and adaptation to a mode of mixed maintenance. Four examples of manifestations held in the pandemic period were taken as different models of adaptation. The Grand Gourmet is an event taken as an example of a pandemic event. It is an international catering festival and competition of waiters, bartenders and batiste organized every year since 2015 by Chefs of Mediterranean and European regions. The organization of the event was accompanied by many challenges including two major cancellations that caused a change of location. Other events that are also canceled were merged into one big event, including the Split Gourmet Expo after which the event was eventually named. After defining the preconditions of the organization and researching the data related to the activities of the organization, the important factors for overcoming the challenges of organizing in the era of a pandemic were defined.
