Abstract
U ovom radu analizirana su obilježja i vrste životnog osiguranja te razvijenost tržišta životnog osiguranja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Analiza pokazuje da u strukturi premije životnog osiguranja najveći udio ima klasično životno osiguranje, a zatim ga slijede investicijsko životno osiguranje, dopunsko osiguranje vezano uz životno osiguranje, rentno osiguranje te osiguranje za slučaj vjenčanja ili rođenja. Na kraju 2020. na tržištu životnog osiguranja djelovalo je ukupno 11 društava za osiguranje sa... More sjedištem u Republici Hrvatskoj. U 2020. godini došlo je do značajnog pada životnog osiguranja od -13,7% što u konačnosti rezultira nešto manjoj ukupnoj premiji u 2020. godini (-0,1%) u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako Republika Hrvatska kao mala zemlja s malim brojem stanovnika u usporedbi sa ostalim zemljama Europske unije ima dovoljno društava za osiguranje koji u svojoj ponudi imaju proizvode vezane za životno osiguranje. Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the characteristics and types of life insurance and the development of the life insurance market in the Republic of Croatia. The analysis shows that in the structure of life insurance premiums, the largest share belongs to traditional life insurance, followed by investment life insurance, supplementary life insurance, annuity insurance and wedding or birth insurance. At the end of 2020, 11 insurance companies based in the Republic of Croatia operated in the life insurance... More market. In 2020, there was a significant drop in life insurance of -13.7%, which ultimately results in a slightly lower total premium in 2020 (-0.1%) compared to the previous year. The results of the research show that the Republic of Croatia, as a small country with a small population compared to other European Union countries, has enough insurance companies that offer life insurance products. There is certainly room for growth in life insurance premiums in the Republic of Croatia. Less
