Abstract
John von Neumann i Oscar Morgemstern 1944. godine objavljuju „Teorija igre i ekonomsko ponašanje“ čime službeno započinje era upotrebe teorije igara u poslovnom odlučivanju. Oni su kroz djelo uvelike doprinijeli shvaćanju kooperativnih igara i igara s nultkom sumom za dva igrača. Iako je naglasak na upotrebi teorije igara unutar ekonomskog ponašanja, ona je sveprisutna. Mnoge važne odluke u privatnom životu pojedinci donese koristeći teoriju igara, a da ni nisu svjesni iste. Posebno je zanimljivo djelovanje teorije igara i oligopola. Sudionici na oligopolu svoje odluke donose u odnosu na djelovanje njihovih konkurenata. A upravo je takav način djelovanja definiran kroz teoriju igara. Cilj svakog od sudionika jest njemu optimalan ishod što može biti objašnjeno preko Nashove ravnoteže.
Abstract (english)
In 1944, John von Neumann and Oscar Morgemstern published "Game Theory and Economic Behavior", which officially marked the beginning of the era of using game theory in business decision-making. Through their work, they have greatly contributed to the understanding of cooperative games and zero-sum games for two players. Although the emphasis is on the use of game theory within economic behavior, it is ubiquitous. Many important decisions in private life are made by individuals using game theory without even being aware of it. Of particular interest is the workings of game theory and oligopolies. Oligopoly participants make their decisions in relation to the actions of their competitors. And it is precisely this mode of action that is defined through game theory. The goal of each of the participants is the optimal outcome for him, which can be explained through Nash's equilibrium.
