Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je bio napraviti statističku analizu uspješnosti poslovanja Valamar Riviere te usporediti poslovanja ovog poduzeća s odabranim konkurentima u periodu od 2016. do 2020. godine. Rad se temeljio na provedbi horizontalne i vertikalne analize te izračunu financijskih pokazatelja (pokazatelja zaduženosti, likvidnosti, ekonomičnosti, profitabilnosti, aktivnosti i investiranja) izračunatih na temelju službenih financijskih izvješća svakog od poduzeća. Na temelju provedenih analiza i izračuna pokazatelja poduzeće Valamar Riviera je poslovalo uspješno u periodu od 2016. do 2019. godine, dok nije poslovalo uspješno u 2020. godini. Nadalje, na temelju odabranih financijskih pokazatelja poduzeće ne posluje uspješnije od svoja četiri odabrana konkurenta. Poduzeće Valamar Riviera u prosjeku zauzima treće mjesto na poretku od analiziranih pet poduzeća.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis was to make a statistical analysis of the performance of Valamar Riviera and compare the operations of this company with selected competitors in the period from 2016. to 2020. The paper was based on the implementation of horizontal and vertical analysis and the calculation of financial indicators (indicators of indebtedness, liquidity, economy, profitability, activity and investment), calculated on the basis of official financial statements of each of the companies. Based on the conducted analyzes and calculations of indicators, the company Valamar Riviera operated successfully in the period from 2016 to 2019, while it did not operate successfully in 2020. Furthermore, based on the selected financial indicators, the company does not operate more successfully than its four selected competitors. On average, Valamar Riviera ranks third in the ranking of the five companies analyzed.
