Abstract
Pandemija COVID-19 predstavlja neviđeni poremećaj u globalnom gospodarstvu i svjetskoj trgovini, budući da se proizvodnja i potrošnja smanjuju širom svijeta. Pandemija COVID-19 koja je započela 2020. godine izazvala je ogroman šok i neizvjesnost u globalnom ekonomskom svijetu, ozbiljniji od onog prethodnih epidemija ili financijske krize 2008. godine. COVID-19 ubrzo je prerastao u pandemiju koronavirusa koja je uzrokovala teške posljedice po stanovništvo cijeloga svijeta, pa tako i Europske unije, čiji je utjecaj glavni predmet ovog rada. Najveći utjecaj mogao se primijetiti u međunarodnoj trgovini. Međunarodna razmjena, kao ukupnost razmjene proizvoda, usluga i resursa jedne zemlje s inozemstvom, sastavni je dio ekonomskog sustava svake zemlje. Međunarodna razmjena omogućuje brži ekonomski razvoj, porast efikasnosti nacionalne proizvodnje putem boljeg iskorištenja domaćih kapaciteta, primjenu tehnološkog napretka te razvoj novih znanja i organizacijskih rješenja.
Abstract (english)
The COVID-19 pandemic represents an unprecedented disruption in the global economy and world trade, as production and consumption decline worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020, has caused huge shock and uncertainty in the global economic world, more serious than that of previous epidemics or the 2008 financial crisis. COVID-19 accelerated into a coronavirus pandemic that caused severe consequences for the population of the whole world, including the European Union, whose influence is the main subject of this paper. The greatest impact could be seen in international trade, as the totality of the exchange of products. Services and resources of a country with foreign countries, is an integral part of the economic system of each country. International exchange enables faster economic development, increasing the efficiency of national production through better use of domestic capacities, application of technological progress and development of new knowledge and organizational solutions.
