Abstract
Pandemija COVID-19 je ostavila značajne posljedice na globalnu ekonomiju, a samim time i na cjelokupnu turističku industriju, pogotovo jer su u jednom trenutku sva putovanja potpuno prekinuta. Ograničavanje poslovanja cijele turističke industrije imalo je negativni učinak na poslovanje u cjelokupnom svjetskom turizmu te je došlo do drastičnog pada turističke potražnje, kolapsa turističke ponude, te financijski pad. Otvaranjem granica 2020. godine počela je potražnja za turističkim putovanjima, ali u manjoj mjeri, dok se 2021. bilježi postepeni oporavak turističke industrije. Cjelokupna turistička industrija ujedinjena je u pokušajima da bolje razumiju utjecaj krize i pronađu nova inovativna rješenja i poslovne modele za ublažavanje negativnog utjecaja na poslovanje. Cilj završnog rada je prikazati posljedice COVID-19 na turističku industriju u RH, te pogled na budućnost post- pandemijskog turizma.
Abstract (english)
The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant consequences on the global economy, and therefore on the entire tourism industry, especially since at one point all travel was completely interrupted. Limiting the operations of the entire tourism industry had a negative effect on operations in the entire world tourism, and there was a drastic drop in tourist demand, a collapse of the tourist offer, and a financial decline. With the opening of the borders in 2020, demand for tourist trips began, but to a lesser extent, while 2021 saw a gradual recovery of the tourism industry. The entire tourism industry is united in trying to better understand the impact of the crisis and find new innovative solutions and business models to mitigate the negative impact on business. The aim of the final paper is to show the consequences of COVID-19 on the tourism industry in the Republic of Croatia, and a view of the future of post-pandemic tourism.
