Abstract
U radu se obrađuju temeljne kategorije i koncepti poput marketing i digitalni marketing, sa teorijskog a potom i aplikativnog aspekta. Društvene mreže su jako brzo postale alat koji služi ne samo za komunikaciju već i kvalitetnije poslovanje poduzeća. Prilikom kreiranja digitalne marketinške strategije, potrebno je kreirati plan nastupa na društvenim mrežama i isticanja među konkurencijom. U radu se razmatrala primjena marketinga na društvenim mrežama na primjeru tvrtke „About you“. Radi se o modnoj, tehnološkoj korporaciji čija je ambicija istaknuti se novom, digitalnom i personaliziranom web trgovinom. Upravo zbog toga prepoznata je kao nezaobilazna shopping destinacija diljem svijeta. About you dolazi do svojih kupaca slanjem e-pošte, oglasima na društvenim mrežama poput Facebooka, Instagrama, Tiktoka i Youtube-a. Primarni segmenti koji se opslužuju su žene i muškarci mlađe i srednje dobi. Tvrtka svojim kampanjama želi personalizirati i zadovoljiti potrebe različitih grupa ljudi, sve životne stilove i trendove koji se izmjenjuju iz sezone u sezonu. Njihovi financijski rezultati dokazuju da su kupci veoma zadovoljni onim što tvrtka predstavlja i nudi te je zasigurno u tome pomogao i odličan marketing putem društvenih mreža.
Abstract (english)
The paper deals with basic categories and concepts such as marketing and digital marketing from theoretical and then from applied point of view. Social networks have fast evolved into a tool that can be used not just for communication but also for improved company operations. When developing a digital marketing strategy, it is vital to include a plan for appearing on social media and distinguishing out from the competitors. The paper examined the use of marketing on social networks using the company "About you" as example. It is a fashion and technology company with the goal of standing out with a fresh, digital, and personalized web shop. It is exactly because of this that it is regarded as a must-see shopping destination across the world. ''About you'' communicates with its clients using email and advertisements on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube. Young and middle-aged women and men are the key demographics covered. The company's campaigns aim to customize and suit the demands of many groups of individuals, as well as all lifestyles and trends that fluctuate from season to season. Their financial results demonstrate that clients are quite content with what the firm represents and delivers, and strong marketing through social networks undoubtedly contributed to this.
