Abstract
Meke vještine imaju izniman značaj u poslovanju, a u današnje vrijeme sve veći broj poslodavaca daje im prednost pred tehničkim vještinama prilikom zapošljavanja. Kako bi se utvrdila važnost mekih vještina te stupanj njihove razvijenosti unutar određenog poduzeća, u ovom radu je provedeno istraživanje iskustva i stavova zaposlenika tvrtke Hrvatski Telekom d.d. Pri tom je postavljeno nekoliko ciljeva. U prvom redu nastojalo se ustanoviti koliku važnost ispitanici pridaju mekim vještinama, provedena je samoprocjena mekih vještina koje posjeduju, utvrđeno je kakve programe i aktivnosti za razvoj mekih vještina ispitanici koriste i naposljetku su istražene glave prepreke razvoju njihovom razvoju. Pokazalo se da su ispitanici najbolji u vještinama izrade prezentacija, suradnji i timskom radu, pisanim poslovnim komunikacijama i donošenju odluka, a kod sebe bi dodatno htjeli poboljšati vještine upravljanja vremenom, rješavanja problema i vještine pregovaranja. Kao temeljna prepreka razvoju njihovih mekih vještina pokazali su se nedostatak odgovarajuće obuke, nedostatak znanja i stidljivost. U pogledu programa, odnosno aktivnosti razvoja mekih vještina u kojima su ispitanici sudjelovali unutar ili izvan poduzeća, pokazalo se kako vlastiti razvoj mekih vještina najviše provode kroz komunikacijsku s klijentima i sastanke i razgovore sa svojim kolegama, a najmanje kroz programe razvoja mekih vještina koji se organiziraju unutar samog poduzeća. Općenito, u Hrvatskom Telekomu manjka programa i aktivnosti za razvoj mekih vještina, na čemu bi trebalo temeljitije raditi u budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Soft skills are extremely important in business, and today an increasing number of employers give them an advantage over technical skills in employment. In order to determine the importance of soft skills and the degree of their development within an individual company, this thesis conducted a survey of experiences and attitudes among employees of Hrvatski Telekom d.d. Several goals have been set. First of all, author tried to find out how much respondents attach importance to soft skills. After that respondents conducted a self- assessment of soft skills they possess, determined which programs and activities for soft skills development respondents use and finally explored the main obstacles to their development. Respondents proved to be the best in presentation skills, collaboration and teamwork, written business communication and decision making, and they would like to further improve their time management, problem solving and negotiation skills. Lack of proper training, lack of knowledge, and shyness have proven to be fundamental barriers to developing their soft skills. With regard to soft skills development programs in which respondents participated within or outside the company, it turned out that their own soft skills development takes place mainly through communication with clients and meetings and conversations with colleagues, and least through organized soft skills development programs. within the company itself. In general, Hrvatski Telekom lacks soft skills development programs and activities and this should be worked on more in the future.
