Abstract
Prema Ugovoru o Europskoj uniji institucionalni ustroj sastavljen je od sedam glavnih institucija. Europske institucije neophodne su za razvoj i opstanak Europske unije jer su među njima podijeljene ovlasti i funkcije kako bi Europska unija neometano funkcionirala kao zajednica. Bitno je razlikovati institucije od savjetodavnih tijela i drugih institucija koje postoje u Europskoj uniji. U Ugovoru o Europskoj uniji navedene su ove temeljne institucije: Europsko vijeće, Europski parlament, Europska komisija, Vijeće Europske unije, Sud pravde Europske unije, Europska središnja banka, Europski revizorski sud. U ovom završnom radu obrađene su četiri temeljne institucije: Vijeće Europske unije, Europska komisija, Europski parlament, Europsko vijeće.
Abstract (english)
According to the Treaty on the European Union, the institutional structure is composed of seven main institutions. European institutions are necessary for development and survival of the European Union, because powers and functions are shared among them in order for European Union to function unobstructed as a community. It is important to distinguish institutions from advisory bodies and other institutions that exist in the European Union. The following fundamental institutions are listed in the Treaty on European Union: European Council, European Parliament, European Commission, Council of the European Union, Court of Justice of the European Union, European Central Bank, European Court of Auditors. In this final paper, four fundamental institutions are elaborated: the Council of the European Union, the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Council.
