Abstract
Sigurnosna pitanja jako su važna za suvremeni turizam. Danas postoje brojni čimbenici rizika koji se mogu negativno odraziti na turizam u turističkoj destinaciji. Turisti su skloni posjećivati turističke destinacije u kojima su identificirane niske razine rizika i u kojima se kvalitetno upravlja sigurnosnim rizicima. To se posebno odnosi na rizike od turističkih napada i rizike povezane s kriminalom. Riječ je o rizičnim čimbenicima koji mogu bitno ugroziti potražnju za turističkim sadržajima. Iz navedenog je razloga bitno utvrditi koliko u nekoj destinaciji postoji rizik od pojavnosti terorističkih napada i kriminala te napraviti dobar plan upravljanja ovim rizicima. Na globalnoj razini postoje velike razlike od regije do regije po pitanju sigurnosti u turizmu. Kada je riječ o Republici Hrvatskoj, ona se po pitanju sigurnosti ubraja među sigurne turističke destinacije. To se odnosi i na sigurnost vezanu uz terorističke napade i kriminal.
Abstract (english)
Security issues are very important for modern tourism. Today, there are numerous risk factors that can have a negative impact on tourism in a tourist destination. Tourists tend to visit tourist destinations where low levels of risk have been identified and where security risks are well managed. This particularly applies to the risks of tourist attacks and the risks associated with crime. These are risk factors that can seriously threaten the demand for tourist facilities. For the above reason, it is important to determine the risk of terrorist attacks and crime in a destination and to make a good plan for managing these risks. At the global level, there are large differences from region to region in terms of safety in tourism. When it comes to the Republic of Croatia, in terms of security, it is counted among the safe tourist destinations. This also applies to security related to terrorist attacks and crime.
