The final paper deals with the impact of GDP on the environment. In the 1970s, worrying problems with the state of the environment were noticed, and with increasing awareness of the environment and the positive effects it can have on economic growth, the situation is changing. In the foreground was no longer just economic growth the effects that certain decisions will have on the environment have already begun to be taken into account. By encouraging environmental innovations and by investing in such innovations we encourage more efficient use of resources. While some environmentalists argue that economic growth leads to environmental damage, others argue that economic growth can affect the improvement of the environment. An important item is the technological development that enables the council efficiency, lower costs and less damage to the environment. The environment should be seen as a public good. The relationship was analyzed using the Kuznets curve model between the economy and the environment. In order to understand the relationship, education is necessary and necessary the formulation of an economic policy aimed at sustainable development. It is essentially defined priorities and activities that would protect the environment and improve economic policy. The relationship between the environment and of economic growth is complex and they have been developed numerous theories and certain effects give us a starting point for an easier understanding of this relationship. Goal of this work is to analyze in which ways GDP affects the environment and which are positive and which are not negative sides of increasingly rapid economic growth.
