Abstract
Iako su doneseni brojni zakoni i pravila o suzbijanju diskriminacije, ostaje još uvijek prisutna u svakodnevnim životu, a posebno kada se radi o diskriminaciji žena. Žene su ponajviše diskriminirane na tržištu rada gdje se može realno vidjeti u koliko se lošem položaju nalaze u odnosu na muškarce, počevši od biranja zanimanja pa sve do nemogućnosti napredovanja i manjih plaća za istu vrstu i količinu odrađenog posla. U ovom je radu prikazana položaj i diskriminacija žena u svakodnevnom životu općenito te s posebnim naglaskom na njihov položaj i status u Republici Hrvatskoj za vremensko razdoblje od 2018. – 2021. godine.
Abstract (english)
Although numerous laws and rules have been maintained to fight against discrimination, it is still present in everyday life, especially when it comes to discrimination against women. Women are mostly discriminated in the labor market, where you can realistically see in how bad position they are in comparison to men, starting with choosing a profession and ending with the impossibility of advancement and lower incomes for the same type and amount of work done. This paper talks about the position and discrimination of women in everyday life in general, with a special emphasis on their position and status in the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2018 to 2021.
