Abstract
Turizam je bitna stavka gospodarstva u mnogim državama tako i u Hrvatskoj. Kompleksnost turizma iziskuje detaljniju analizu određenih aspekata kako bi se prikazao njegov ekonomski utjecaj. U ovom radu se analizira utjecaj turizma na platnu bilancu Hrvatske. Platna bilanca je sustavan popis svih ekonomskih transakcija između rezidenata određene države i inozemstva, odnosno drugih država u nekom razdoblju (najčešće jedna godina). Također provodi se i analiza hrvatskog turizma, turističke ponude i potražnje. Svaka regija u Hrvatskoj ima svoje atrakcije i mogućnosti za daljnji rast i razvoj. Turistička potražnja u Hrvatskoj u stalnom je porastu. Bilanca usluga je u suficitu već dugi niz godina upravo zahvaljujući turizmu koji pomaže uravnoteženju platne bilance.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is an important part of the economy in many countries as well as in Croatia. The complexity of tourism requires a more detailed analysis of certain aspects in order to show its economic impact. This paper analyzes the impact of tourism on Croatia's balance of payments. The balance of payments is a systematic list of all economic transactions between residents of a certain country and abroad, that is, other countries in a certain period (most often one year). An analysis of Croatian tourism, tourist supply and demand is also carried out. Each region in Croatia has its own attractions and opportunities for further growth and development. Tourist demand in Croatia is constantly increasing. The balance of services has been in surplus for many years precisely thanks to tourism, which helps to balance the balance of payments.
