Abstract
Pored toga što je RH ulaskom u EU osigurala velika novčana sredstva kroz fondove za (su)financiranje razvoja poduzetništva u okviru kohezijske politike EU, razvidno je da je u međupopisnim razdobljima prisutan kontinuirani demografski pad na nacionalnoj i lokalnoj razini. Brojni su uzroci takvog stanja među koje svakako treba istaknuti posljedice Domovinskog rata, ulazak RH u EU te sloboda kretanja stanovnika s tim u svezi kao i nedostatak radnih mjesta u ruralnim sredinama. Dugoročne projekcije demografa idu za procjenama da će samo u malobrojnim županijama doći do porasta broja stanovnika do 2051. godine (Zadarska i Zagrebačka županija) i to isključivo zbog porasta broja stanovnika starijih od 65 i više godina. Zbog navedenog , zaustavljanje negativnih demografskih trendova moguće je kroz međusektorsku sinergiju te koordinaciju svih nivoa vlasti u nastojanjima za efikasnom demografskom obnovom.
Abstract (english)
In addition to the fact that by joining the EU, Republic of Croatia was provided with large sums of money through funds for financing the development of entrepreneurship under EU cohesion policy, it was made clear that during the inter-list periods there was a continuos demographic decline present at the national and local level. There are a number of causes of such situations, among which the consequences of the „Domovinski rat“ state war, Republic of Croatia entry into the EU and freedom of movement for residents in this regard as well as lack of jobs in rural areas. Long term demographic projections go for estimates that only in a small number of counties will have an increase of population until 2051. (Zadar and Zagreb counties) solely due to population growth older than 65 and over. Because of the above, stopping the negative demographic trends is possible through cross-sectoral synergies and coordination of all levels of goverment in efforts for effective demographic renewal.
