Abstract
Ovaj završni rad bavi se istraživanjem ključnih odrednica i instrumenata štednje stanovništva u Europskoj uniji, s posebnim naglaskom na Hrvatsku. U radu se analizira utjecaj glavnih makroekonomskih čimbenika poput kamatnih stopa, inflacije, razine dohotka i stope nezaposlenosti, kao i socijalnih i demografskih faktora, uključujući starosnu strukturu stanovništva, razinu obrazovanja i financijsku pismenost, koji oblikuju odluke o štednji. More učinkovitosti različitih štednih instrumenata, kao što su bankovni depoziti, trezorski zapisi, obveznice, dionice, investicijski fondovi, proizvodi društava za životno osiguranje i mirovinski fondovi. U radu je analizirana štednja u Europskoj uniji i Hrvatskoj, pri čemu se istražuju razine štednje i trendovi među zemljama članicama, uz posebnu usporedbu Hrvatske s prosjekom EU. Abstract (english)
This thesis explores the key determinants and instruments of household savings in the European Union, with a special focus on Croatia. The paper analyzes the impact of major macroeconomic factors such as interest rates, inflation, income levels, and unemployment rates, as well as social and demographic factors, including the age structure of the population, education levels, and financial literacy, which shape savings decisions. Special attention is given to the analysis... More of the effectiveness of various savings instruments, such as bank deposits, treasury bills, bonds, stocks, investment funds, life insurance products, and pension funds. The thesis examines savings in the European Union and Croatia, investigating savings levels and trends among member states, with a particular comparison of Croatia to the EU average. Through this analysis, key factors influencing savings patterns in these regions are identified. Less
