Abstract
Aktualno stanje i perspektive razvoja turizma u dolini Neretve su značajni za regiju. Trenutno, dolina Neretve privlači turiste zbog svoje prirodne ljepote, bogate kulturne baštine i mogućnosti za aktivni odmor. To uključuje krstarenje rijekom, posjet vinogradima i povijesnim gradovima. U ovom radu opisano je trenutno stanje turizma, njegovo moguće poboljšanje te projekti koji su u planu izgradnje. Korištenjem metoda deskripcije, komparacije te povijesne metode, napisana je osnova za analizu turizma u dolini Neretve. Perspektive razvoja turizma u ovom području su obećavajuće. Potrebno je ulagati u infrastrukturu, kao što su bolji prometni pravci i smještajne opcije. Održivi turizam i promocija lokalnih proizvoda mogli bi također potaknuti gospodarski razvoj i očuvanje okoliša. Dolina Neretve ima potencijal postati sve popularnija destinacija za turiste koji traže autentično iskustvo u predivnom prirodnom okruženju
Abstract (english)
The current state and prospects of tourism development in the Neretva Valley are significant for the region. Currently, the Neretva valley attracts tourists because of its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage and opportunities for active holidays. These include river cruises, visits to vineyards and historic cities. This paper describes the current state of tourism, its possible improvement and projects that are planned for construction. Using methods of description, comparison and historical method, the basis for the analysis of tourism in the Neretva Valley was written. The prospects of tourism development in this area are promising. It is necessary to invest in infrastructure, such as better traffic routes and accommodation options. Sustainable tourism and the promotion of local products could also stimulate economic development and environmental conservation. The Neretva Valley has the potential to become an increasingly popular destination for tourists looking for an authentic experience in a beautiful natural environment
