Leadership implies preparing others to do what the leader wants. Leading involves a series of activities aimed at the interaction between managers and employees. The most important aspect of management is the leader’s ability to influence people, so that with their work, they can contribute to organization and shared objectives. The basic essence of leadership is that it is focused on interpersonal aspects of management. Autocratic management style results in higher productivity and execution of the task, in the shortest possible time. However, in the absence of leader, there is inappropriate behaviour. In longer term, members of the group become dissatisfied and frustrated. The lowest productivity have teams with the laissez-faire leadership, and in such groups usually occurs inappropriate behaviour and social loafing. However, the relationship with the leader is friendly and group members are generally satisfied. It was established, according to the survey conducted on the sample of employees of AD Plastik, that the prevailing management style was the democratic one. This style leads to the maximum working morale in the group, friendship and cooperation amongst the members. However, the group with this style of management can be less productive and efficient, they may need more time to complete a task, in regards to groups with autocratic leadership.
