Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je provjeriti kako se temeljni ekonomski postulati, ponuda i cijene, ponašaju na tržištu ribe, kao jednim od specifičnih vrsta tržišta. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako logika temeljnih ekonomskih postulata nije primjenjiva na primjeru tržišta ribe gdje se riba prodaje direktno kupcu. Naime, dobiveni rezultati su pokazali da je s većom cijenom, ponuda ribe niža, što implicira da cijena uopće nije determinanta ponude kada je riječ o prodaji ribe u direktnom odnosu s kupcem. Nadalje, istraživanje je očekivano pokazalo da vremenske prilike znatno utječu na ponude ribe. Konačno, budući da je svježa riba, visoko kvarljiv proizvod, rezultati istraživanja očekivano su pokazali da kako se bliži kraj radnog vremena, cijena ribe se smanjuje.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to analyse how fundamental economic postulates, namely supply and prices, act on the fish market, as one of the most specific market types. The research conducted has shown that the logic of basic economic postulates is not applicable on the fish market where the fish is sold directly to costumer. Namely, the results obtained show that with the higher price, supply of the fish is smaller, which implies that the price itself in not at all determinant of the supply, when it comes to selling the fish directly to the consumer. Furthermore, research has clearly shown that weather conditions have a significant impact on the fish supply. Finally, since fresh fish is highly degradable product, the results of the research expectedly have shown that price of fish is decreasing, as we are approaching to the end of working hours.
