Abstract
Promjene u potraţnji i potrebama turista posljednjih godina rezultirale su povećanjem potraţnje za manifestacijskim turizmom a posljediĉno tome i razvoju manifestacija. Manifestacije su postale neizostavan element svake destinacije. Cilj i svrha ovog rada je bilo analizirati i sistematizirati te iste manifestacije u gradu Sinju kao turistiĉkoj destinaciji. Stoga se u radu ponajprije razlagao teorijski dio o manifestacijama, analizirali su se resursi grada Sinja te navele manifestacije koje se odrţavaju tijekom cijele godine. Pobliţe se fokusiralo na dvije centralne manifestacije Alku i Veliku Gospu te je nakon analize manifestacija ponuĊen prijedlog za proširenje manifestacijske ponude sukladno s postojećim resursima Grada.
Abstract (english)
In the recent years, changes of the demand and needs of tourists resulted in the increase of demand for event tourism. Events have become an essential element of every tourism destination offer. The purpose and main goal of this thesis was to analyze and systemize events that are held in the town of Sinj. Therefore, the thesis firstly presents the theoretical part about events, analyzes the resources of Sinj and enumerates the events that are held throughout the year. The focus was on two main events, Alka and Great Madonna of Sinj. After the analysis, proposals for the development of events that are in synchrony with the existing town resources are given.
