Human resource (HR) management today plays a key role in achieving efficiency in business organization of a company. The main reason is that HR management has a great impact on employees' behavior and attitude they have towards their work and also towards the entire organization they work in. Two of the main functions of the HR management and its related activities are training and education. Their importance is crucial for the creation of the high quality skills which are necessary in today's business. Employees with a higher level of knowledge and skills tend to perform well in different kind of tasks and contribute to achieving the main goals of the organization. Highly educated and trained employees are more prepared to meet more challenging levels, thus increasing their desire for work or motivation. This graduate thesis is build upon different goals based on several interrelated dimensions. First, it establishes the existence of a positive relationship between training and education for the employees and their motivation for work. Additionally, arguments are given to prove that continuous investment in training and employee education allows their growth, prosperity and a positive attitude towards work, which implies the existence of motivation for work. Furthermore, the objective is to get information about employees expectations and their satisfaction with the implemented training and education programs. In addition to the various segments that are presented through research goals, the theoretical part of the work analyzes and defines the concepts of training, education and motivation. Different methods, techniques, models and course of implementation are shown, as their relation to work motivation. Empirical research was conducted on the example of Cemex company and has included 44 respondents. Based on the results of the research, statistics and analysis, the conclusion is that staff training and education were significantly related to the work motivation. Additionally, what was concluded is that the expectations of the respondents are fulfilled regarding the programs of training and education. According to the results obtained it can be said that training, education and employee motivation are an inevitable segment in business and the key to the success of each organization.
