Abstract
U ovom radu definirano je obiteljsko poduzeće, njegove glavne karakteristike te prednosti i nedostaci, te uloga žena u obiteljskim poduzećima. Cilj rada bilo je istražiti i definirati prepreke s kojima se danas susreću žene u poslovanju obiteljskog poduzeća. Zatim proučiti prepreke i diskriminacije kod napredovanja i zapošljavanja. Prilikom izrade završnog rada korištene su deskriptivna metoda, metoda dedukcije i metoda komparacije. Istraživanje je potkrijepljeno stručnim knjigama te literaturom sa interneta. Kroz pozitivan primjer obiteljskog poduzeća Marina Lab Opus može se vidjeti kako je uloga žena u obiteljskom poduzeću i poduzetništvu na dobrom putu. Sukladno tome, možemo zaključiti kako se Hrvatska polako otvara ženama na tržištu rada, te se vidi pozitivan pomak prema postupnom nestajanju prepreka koje održavaju podzastupljenost u poslovnim aktivnostima te nejednakim mogućnostima.
Abstract (english)
This Bachelor thesis defined the family business, its main characteristics, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the role of women in family businesses. The aim of the paper was to explore and define the barriers that women face in the family business today and study obstacles and discrimination in terms of promotion and employment. The descriptive method, the deduction method and the comparison method were used in writing this final paper. The research was supported by professional literature and Internet sources as well. Through a positive example of the family business Marina Lab Opus, it can be noted that the role of women in a family business and entrepreneurship is on the good track. Accordingly, we can conclude that Croatia slowly opens up to the participation of women in the labour market, and there is a positive shift towards the gradual disappearance of barriers that allow underrepresentation of women in business activities and unequal opportunities.
