Poslovanje trgovačkih lanaca može se definirati kao dinamično i promjenjivo, svaki novi trgovački lanac na tržištu preko svojih prodavaonica nudi nešto novo, odnosno povoljnije proizvode i usluge, time ostvaruju sve veći udio na tržištu, te povećavaju svoj vlastiti profit.
