Abstract
Primarni cilj ovoga završnog rada je ukazati na adekvatnu valorizaciju i zaštitu kulturnih resursa te utvrditi mogućnosti profiliranja prepoznatljivih proizvoda kulturnog turizma na otoku Braču uz pravilnu koordinaciju svih turističkih dionika. Otok Brač posjeduje brojne prirodne, materijalne i nematerijalne kulturne resurse. Kroz analizu stanja i resursa u ovom radu, utvrĎen je potencijal za razvoj kulturnoga turizma te je naglašena veza izmeĎu turizma i kulture, odnosno vaţnost poticanja sinergije izmeĎu dvije djelatnosti zbog obogaćenja turističke destinacije. Otok Brač prepoznat je kao destinacija kulture od strane turista, no potrebna je krovna turistička organizacija koja bi promovirala otok kao cjelovitu kulturnu destinaciju.
Abstract (english)
The primary objective of this final paper is to point out the adequate valorisation and protection of cultural resources and to identify opportunities for profiling of recognizable cultural tourism products on the island of Brac, with the proper coordination of all tourism stakeholders. The island of Brac has numerous natural, material and intangible cultural resources. Through the analysis of the situation and resources in this paper, the potential for the development of cultural tourism was identified and the connection between tourism and culture was emphasized, that is, the importance of fostering synergy between the two activities in order to enrich the tourist destination. The island of Brac is recognized as a cultural destination by tourists, but an umbrella tourist organization is needed to promote the island as a complete cultural destination.
