Abstract
Održavanje manifestacija je uvijek imalo značajan kulturni i društveni značaj za grad u kojem se održavao. Grad Split već dugi niz godina njeguje tradiciju održavanja Festivala zabavne glazbe Split koji nosi epitet jedne od najpopularnijih i najcjenjenijih glazbenih manifestacija u državi. Ova manifestacija već godinama ima poseban kulturno – društveni značaj za grad Split koji je svoj poznati imidž stvorio raznim kulturnim i društvenim sadržajima koji privlači veliki broj turista te promovira kulturnu i povijesnu baštinu grada. Festival njeguje spomenute tradicijske vrijednosti te posjetitelji tokom održavanja festivala mogu uživati u tradicionalnim dalmatinskim melodijama ali i u bogatom dodatnom sadržaju koji ovaj festival nudi poput prodaje hrane, pića, suvenira, organiziranja nagradnih igara popraćeno humorom i smijehom. Festival uživa visoki ugled među predstavnicima javnog sekotra i državnih institucija te potiče osjećaj zajedništva i zadovoljstva lokalnog stanovništva te svojevrsno brendira Split kao destinaciju sa bogatim turističkim sadržajem. Održavanje ovakvih manifestacija zahtijeva mnogo organizacijskog napora i vještina kako bi festival bio što zanimljiviji publici ali i kako bi pratio moderne trendove koji bi priključili veći broj posjetitelja, prvenstveno mlađih generacija. Ovaj rad upravo razmatra to pitanje te se fokusira na pronalazak marketinških i organizacijskih sadržaja koji bi mogli unarijediti ovu značajnu manifestiaciju koja predstavlja pozitivan imidž za Split i Hrvatsku.
Abstract (english)
The organisation of the Festival zabavne glazbe Split has always been important for the cultural and social development of the city. For years Split has nurtured the festival's tradition of preservation and at the same time the Festival carries epithet of the most popular musical manifestation in Croatia. Split has rich cultural and social content that sttract a large number of visitors, especially during the summer months. During the festival visitors can enjoy traditional Dalmation melodies but also participate in many additional content like prize games, delicious local gastronomy, souvenirs and lot of laughter and fun. The festival is enjoying a high reputation among representatives of state institutions and its also encourages feeling of sharing and satisfaction among the local population. Maintaining such manifestations requires a lot of organizational effort to increase attendance of the festival more interesting to the audience but also to follow the modern trends that would interest a zounger audience. This thesis work try find the answer what is necesary to increase attendance on the festival but also to find market and organization content to improve this manifestation which is important for Split and Croatia.
