Abstract
Kongresni turizam je specifičan podoblik turizma u kojemu glavni motiv putovanja nije odmor nego aktivno ili pasivno sudjelovanje pojedinaca na skupovima i manifestacijama različitog karaktera. U posljednjem desetljeću bilježi pozitivan trend u globalnim turističkim kretanjima. Prema podacima Međunarodnog kongresnog udruženja iz 2017. godine Hrvatska se nalazi među 110 država na svijetu. Da bi se probila i bila prepoznata kao kongresna destinacija potrebno je intezivno ulaganje u infrastrukturu... More i jačanju promocije. Proces organizacije kongresa je prije svega složena aktivnost koja obuhvaća slijedeće korake: inicijacija i odabir teme projekta, sastavljanje organizacijskog odbora, priprema proračuna, pronalaženje sponzora, odabir datuma i trajanje kongresa, odabir lokacije i rezerviranje mjesta održavanja, dogovaranje oko ugostiteljskih usluga i ostalih dobavljača, pronalaženje predavača, sastavljanje dnevnog programa, registracija sudionika, te u konačnici promocija i zatvaranje organizacije i projekta. Navedeni koraci primijenjeni su i analizirani na primjeru organizacije Međunarodnog kongresa povijesnih gradova, koji se ove godine po peti puta održao u Solinu u Hotelu President*****. Tema kongresa je zaštita i interpretacija povijesnih atrakcija i lokaliteta u povijesnim gradovima diljem Hrvatske kroz usporedbu s gradovima iz inozemstva. Analizom svih koraka u organizaciji ovog kongresa, dana je preporuka za jačanje kontakta sa sudionicima kongresa u vidu provođenja anketa zadovoljstva istih. Grad Solin nastavlja svoj put probijanja kao prepoznate kongresne destinacije, svjestan kako je potrebno dodatnih ulaganja u promociji destinacije i infrastrukturi, te praćenju aktualnih trendova u kongresnoj industriji. Abstract (english)
Congress tourism is a specific form of tourism in which the main motive of a journey is not a vacation, but an active or passive participation in particulars at meetings and manifestations of varying character. In the last decade, there has been a positive trend in global tourism trends. According to the data of the International Congressional Congress of 2017, Croatia is among the 110 countries in the world. To be recognized as a congress destination, it is necessary to invest heavily in... More infrastructure and strengthen the promotion. The process of congress organization is primarily a complex activity that includes the following steps: initiation and selection of the project theme, organization of the organizational committee, preparation of the budget, finding a sponsor, choice of date and duration of the congress, location selection and reservation of the venue, arrangement of catering services and others suppliers, finding a lecturer, compiling a daily program, registering participants, and ultimately promoting and closing organization and project. The above steps were applied and analyzed on the example of the International Congress of Historical Cities, which this year, for the fifth time, was held at the Hotel President***** in Solin. The theme of the congress is the protection and interpretation of historical attractions and sites in historic cities throughout Croatia through benchmarking with cities from abroad. By analyzing all the steps in the organization of this congress, it is recommended to strengthen contacts with congressional participants in the conduct of their satisfaction surveys. The city of Solin continues its breakthrough as a recognized congress destination, aware of the need for additional investment in destination promotion and infrastructure, and tracking current trends in the congress industry.
