Abstract
U ovom radu istraživana su obilježja i vrste životnih osiguranja te je analiziralo tržište životnih osiguranja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako na hrvatskom tržištu osiguranja najveći udio ima klasično životno osiguranje, a zatim rentno i dopunsko te osiguranje za slučaj vjenčanja ili sklapanja životnog partnerstva ili rođenja. Tijekom 2018. godine u Hrvatskoj se poslovima životnog osiguranja bavilo 14 društava za osiguranje. Životna osiguranja su 2018. godinu zaključila s rastom premije od 0,75%. Također, rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da je na hrvatskom tržištu životnih osiguranja situacija stabilna. Republika Hrvatska, iako mala država s relativno malim brojem stanovnika u odnosu na ostale zemlje Europske unije, ima dovoljno društva za osiguranje koja se bave poslovima životnog osiguranja.
Abstract (english)
This paper were investigated the characteristics and types of life insurance and analyzed the life insurance market in the Republic of Croatia. The survey showed that the Croatian insurance market had the largest share of classic life insurance, followed by annuity and supplementary insurance, and insurance in case of marriage or life partnership or birth. In 2018, 14 insurance companies were engaged in life insurance business in Croatia, life insurance have achieved premium growth of 0,75%. Also, the results of the research showed that the situation on the Croatian life insurance market is stable. The Republic of Croatia, although a small country with a relatively small population compared to other EU countries, has sufficient life insurance companies.
