Abstract
U ovom radu analizirano je zdravstveno osiguranje u Republici Hrvatskoj s obuhvatom i obveznog i dobrovoljnog zdravstvenog osiguranja. S obzirom na ograničeno pokriće obveznim zdravstvenim osiguranjem većina ljudi se sve više odlučuje za dobrovoljno osiguranje zbog ostvarenja kvalitetnije zdravstvene zaštite te manjih budućih troškova. Bruto premija dopunskog zdravstvenog osiguranja u 2017. godini iznosila je 487,8 milijuna kuna i bilježi rast od 19,2% u usporedbi s prethodnom godinom. Trend rasta dopunskog zdravstvenog osiguranja očekuje se i u budućnosti. Dodatno zdravstveno osiguranje još od 2012. godine nastavlja trend pada u odnosu na ukupno zdravstveno osiguranje te iznosi 33,51%. Zaključujemo kako je za razliku od dopunskog zdravstvenog osiguranja dodatno osiguranje manje razvijeno, a primarni razlog je cijena koju si ne može priuštiti veći dio stanovništva.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes health insurance in the Republic of Croatia with coverage of compulsory and voluntary health insurance. Due to the limited coverage of compulsory health insurance, most people are increasingly opting for voluntary insurance for better health care and lower future costs. The gross premium for supplementary health insurance in 2017 amounted to HRK 487.8 million, recording a growth of 19.2% compared to the previous year. The growth trend of supplementary health insurance is also expected in the future. Additional health insurance has continued to decline from 2012 to total health insurance, amounting to 33.51%. We conclude that unlike supplementary health insurance, supplementary insurance is less developed, and the primary reason is the price that most of the population can not afford.
