Abstract
Unutarnja revizija javnog sektora je relativno mlada profesija, koja se kontinuirano razvija i mijenja. U radu je istražena važnost uspostave kvalitetne unutarnje revizije te analiza doprinosa unutarnje revizije većoj odgovornosti trošenja javnog novca kroz analizu podataka Objedinjenih godišnjih izvješća. Rezultati istraživanje pokazuju da učinak provedenih danih preporuka unutarnje revizije, doprinose postizanju ciljeva poslovanja i ostvarenju dodane vrijednosti. Na primjeru unutarnje revizije poslovanja Muzičke akademije predočen je Nalaz revizije te izvršenje preporuka koje imaju utjecaj na povećanje kvalitete unutarnjih kontrola i povećanje kvalitete poslovanja. Kako bi unutarnja revizija bila učinkovita u svom djelovanju vrlo je važno pitanje kadrovske opremljenosti i osposobljenosti unutarnjih revizora.
Abstract (english)
Internal audit of the public sector is a relatively young profession, which is constantly evolving and changing. The paper investigates the importance of establishing a quality internal audit and analyzes the contribution of internal audit to greater responsibility for spending public money through the analysis of data from the Consolidated Annual Reports. The results of the research show that the effect of the implemented internal audit recommendations contributes to the achievement of business objectives and the achievement of added value. On the example of the internal audit of the operations of the Music Academy, the Audit Finding and the implementation of recommendations that have an impact on increasing the quality of internal controls and increasing the quality of operations were presented. In order for internal audit to be effective in its operation, the issue of staffing and training of internal auditors is very important.
