Abstract
Mirovinski sustav je oblik socijalnog osiguranja kojem upravlja Hrvatski zavod za mirovinsko osiguranje. U RH mirovinske reforme dovele su do ustrojstva konačnog oblika mirovinskog sustava koji se sastoji od tri stupa. Prvi je stup obvezni oblik zasnovan na međugeneracijskoj solidarnosti, drugi stup obvezni je oblik na temelju osobne kapitalizirane štednje, a treći je stup dobrovoljan oblik individualne kapitalizirane štednje. Dobrovoljno mirovinsko osiguranje je dobrovoljni oblik štednje za one koji se žele sami dodatno osigurati, a svaki osiguranik samostalno odlučuje o visini isplate i razdoblju štednje. Važnost dobrovoljnog mirovinskog osiguranja proizlazi iz održivosti mirovinskog sustava u budućnosti s obzirom na nepovoljnu demografsku strukturu u Hrvatskoj, starenje stanovništva, odlazak mladih iz zemlje. Dobrovoljno mirovinsko osiguranje jamči dodatnu sigurnost za starost uz pomoć državnih poticaja s kojima država nastoji poticati ovakav oblik štednje.
Abstract (english)
The pension system is a form of social insurance managed by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute. In the Republic of Croatia, pension reforms have led to the organization of the final form of the pension system which consists of three pillars. The first pillar is a mandatory form based on intergenerational solidarity, the second pillar is a mandatory form based on personal capitalized savings and the third pillar is a voluntary form of individual capitalized savings. Voluntary pension insurance is a voluntary form of savings for those who want to insure themselves additionally and each insured person independently decided on the amount of payment and the period of savings. The importance of voluntary pension insurance stems from the sustainability of the pension system in the future given the unfavourable demographic structure in Croatia, the aging population, and the departure of young people from countries. Voluntary pension insurance guarantees additional security for old age with the help of state incentives with which the state seeks to encourage this form of savings.
