Abstract
Digitalni nomadi su pojedinci koji koriste telekomunikacijske tehnologije kako bi zaradili za život i vodili svoj život na nomadski način. Postoje brojni razlozi za odabir načina života digitalnog nomadstva, od kojih je najčešći potraga za financijskom neovisnošću i karijerom koja omogućuje neovisnost o lokaciji. Suprotno tome, većina digitalnih nomada kao negativne posljedice navode moguću osamljenost te izgaranje na poslu. Nadalje, digitalni se nomadi suočavaju s izazovima poput pridržavanja različitog lokalnog zakonodavstva, održavanja zdravstvenog osiguranja, dobivanja radnih viza i plaćanja poreza u skladu s domaćim i lokalnim zakonima.
Abstract (english)
Digital nomads are individuals who use telecommunications technologies to earn a living and lead their lives in a nomadic way. Financial freedom and a location independent career seem to be one the main motivators for choosing a digital nomadic lifestyle. Conversely, most digital nomads cite loneliness and burnout as the most common negative outcomes. Furthermore, digital nomads encounter difficulties such as complying with various local regulations, maintaining health insurance, paying taxes and gaining a work permit.
