Abstract
S obzriom na nekontroliran rast industrije turizma, bilo je očigledno kako turizam kao takav ima mnogo negativnih učinaka na okoliš i društvo. Posljedično se javio pojam održivi razvoj turizma koji kao glavni cilj ističe ravnotežu između ekoloških, sociokulturnih i ekonomskih elemenata. Održivi razvoj je sve prisutniji u svim gospodarskim granama. Pravilna provedba održivog razvoja turizma donosi mnogo koristi za sadašnje, a posebno za buduće naraštaje. Stoga, ovaj rad govori o održivom turizmu na području grada Trilja, o sadašnjem stanju i mogućnosti za napredak.
Abstract (english)
Considering the uncontrolled growth of tourism industry, it was obvious that tourism has many negative impacts on the enviroment and society.Consequently, the concept of sustainable tourism development has emerged and it emphasizes the balance between enviromental, socio – cultural and economic elements as the main goal. Sustainable development is increasingly present in all industries. Proper implementation of sustainable tourism development brings many benefits to present and especially tofoture generations. Therefore, this exploring thesis talks about sustainable tourism in the area of the town Trilj, about the current situation and opportunities for progress.
