Abstract
Kamatna stopa je značajna odrednica gospodarskih aktivnosti koja ovisi o reguliranju novčane mase, s jedne strane, i o preferencijama likvidnosti poduzeća i kućanstava s druge strane. Kroz ovaj rad objašnjen je utjecaj i promjena kamatnih stopa na gospodarski sustav kao što su privatna i javna potrošnja, bogatstva pojedinaca i nacije te financijski odnos zemlje sa ostatkom svijeta. Cilj je prikazati utjecaj kamatnih stopa na raznim tržištima kao i istaknuti njihovu ulogu na financijskim tržištima. Usporedbom EURIBOR-a i EONIA-e uvidjet će se da postoji značajan pad koji se događa od 2011. do 2020. godine. Usporedbom ZIBOR-a i NRS-a, referentnih kamatnih stopa koje se formiraju na hrvatskom međubankarskom tržištu, s EURIBOR, koji se formira na europskom međubankovnom tržištu, vidimo da imaju jaku i pozitivnu korelaciju, što znači da sa svakim povećanjem EURIBOR-a raste i ZIBOR i NRS.
Abstract (english)
Interest rate is a significant determinant of economic activity which depends on the Regulation of the money supply, on the one hand, and on the liquidity preferences of enterprises and households on the other. This final work explains the influence and change of interest rates on the economic system, such as private and public spending, the wealth of individuals and nations, and the financial relationship between the country and the rest of the world. The aim is to show the impact of interest rates on different markets as well as to emphasize their role in financial markets. By comparing EURIBOR and EONIA, we have realised that there is a significant decrease occurring between 2011 and 2020. By comparing the ZIBOR and the NRR, the reference interest rates that are formed on the Croatian interbank market, with EURIBOR, which is formed on the European interbank market, we see that they have a strong and positive correlation, which means that with each increase of EURIBOR, ZIBOR and NRS grow.
